The Starbucks Conundrum

In case you didn’t know, I live in a small town named Delray Beach.

Really, it’s a ridiculous little town. Lot’s of rich yuppies bordering a ghetto.

Stores close by early here too, another minor inconvenience for a “city boy”.

Now, I know yuppies love Starbucks. Hell, I even drink an iced mocha from time to time. But even I was shocked by what I saw.

Two Starbucks store front locations, ON THE SAME STREET, just one small block away.

Who the hell is doing the franchising over at Starbucks? Maybe this is a reason why their stock has been bear clawed to death over the past year.

Anyone want to take bets on which Starbucks will close first?

P.S. Shorting Starbucks would have been an awesome play last January. But now it’s time we look for something different… Feel free to chime in with ideas below.
